LIGHT

All pictures were shot in manual mode.

This is a good example of use of flash. Without flash,
even with a high ISO and slow shutter speed
you still couldn't see what was under the stairs.
For this picture I had the ISO at 100,
the shutter speed at 1/125 and the aperture at F4.5.

This is a bad example of use of flash.
There was already lots of natural light coming in through the window,
so flash was unnecessary and the whole left side of the picture looks white.
I had the ISO at 200, the shutter speed at 1/250 and the aperture at F5.0.

This is an example of soft light.
Even though the quantity of light was quite high,
the shadows are hardly noticeable and very soft.
I had the ISO at 800, the shutter speed at 1/80
and the aperture at F4.5.

This is a good example of quantity of light.
The left side side of the picture is kind of dark and the right side is very bright
so it was very hard to pick settings because if I had it less bright,
the left side would be too dark and if I had it more bright
the right side would look completely white. I had the ISO at 80
the shutter speed at 1/800 and the aperture at F5.6.

This is a good example of direction of light.
There is harsh light coming from directly behind me
so it makes a very dark shadow. You can't see my head
because the sun was shining right at that spot and
it was way too bright for the settings I had.
I had the ISO at 200, the shutter speed at 1/320
and the aperture at F5.0.

This is an example of color of light.
You can see the light reflecting off of the wall
making a reddish reflection on the floor
and the sky is making a blue reflection.
I had the ISO at 400, the shutter speed at 1/320
and the aperture at F5.0.

This is just a picture I took because I thought the sky looked really cool.
I like how blue the sky is, the clouds look kinda cool,
I also like the dead trees and the brick wall.
For this picture I had the ISO at 100, the shutter speed at 1/250
and the aperture at F5.0.

Playing With Different Settings

Low Light

For this picture I was in AV mode. I had the aperture at F5.6 and the ISO at 400,
the ISO is definitely way too low.

For this picture I was in manual mode. I had the ISO at 1600,
the shutter speed at 1/15 and the aperture at F5.6. I think these are good settings
for the amount of light I had

Bright Light

For this picture I was in TV mode. I had the ISO at 100 and the shutter speed at 1/100,
this is definitely too long of a shutter speed for how much light I had.

In this picture I used the manual setting, I had the shutter speed at 1/640,
the aperture at F5.6, and the ISO at 100, this picture turned out great.
I think the settings I chose were perfect for the amount of light I had.
